Delhi High Court में filed PIL ने major social-media platforms के infinite scroll, autoplay, personalised feeds और persistent notifications जैसे design features को challenge किया है. Petitioner का argument है कि India का current legal framework mainly content पर focus करता है, जबकि engagement maximise करने वाली product architecture भी scrutiny deserve करती है.
अगर court regulators या expert bodies को content moderation और product-design regulation में distinction develop करने की दिशा में push करता है तो case significant हो सकता है.
