National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions ने 7 अक्टूबर को allied healthcare professions में registration, institutional quality assurance और education से जुड़े regulations तथा standards की घोषणा की।
Registration Regulations State और Central Registers के online system, Unique Identification numbers और QR-coded certificates का framework बनाते हैं। Registration पांच साल valid होगी और renewal Continuing Professional Development से जुड़ा है। जहां functional State Council नहीं है, eligible professionals Central Register में direct registration कर सकते हैं।
अलग regulations Autonomous Boards और Central Assessment Committee के जरिए education standards, institutional assessment, professional ethics और registration support करेंगे। Commission ने competency-based two-year Diploma in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology भी notify किया, जिसमें six-month clinical internship है।
