BRICS Summit खत्म: Modi ने geopolitical shocks पर चेताया, 2027 की chair China को सौंपी
New Delhi summit के closing session में PM Modi ने supply-chain disruptions, climate risks, infectious diseases और weaponised technology को global stability के बड़े खतरे बताया।
New Delhi में 18वां BRICS Summit खत्म हो गया है। Closing session में Prime Minister Narendra Modi ने कहा कि geopolitical tensions, supply-chain shocks, climate crises और critical technologies का weaponisation अब किसी एक region तक सीमित खतरे नहीं रहे।
Expanded BRICS अब 11 members और कई partner countries के साथ दुनिया की करीब आधी आबादी को represent करता है। इसी वजह से summit का focus केवल diplomatic statements पर नहीं, बल्कि trade, health, energy, AI और institutional reform के practical mechanisms पर रहा।
Health के लिए early-warning system
Modi ने infectious diseases के लिए BRICS early-warning mechanism बनाने की घोषणा की। Pandemic के बाद यह initiative cross-border disease surveillance, information-sharing और preparedness को institutional shape देने की कोशिश है।
Summit declaration में food security, energy security, AI cooperation, local-currency trade और cross-border payment systems पर भी language शामिल की गई।
Consensus क्यों महत्वपूर्ण था
BRICS में Iran, UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, China और Russia जैसे देशों के strategic interests कई मुद्दों पर अलग हैं। West Asia conflict के बीच joint declaration पर consensus बनना इसलिए politically significant है।
Summit के अंत में India ने BRICS chairmanship China को hand over की, जो 2027 cycle lead करेगा। अब असली परीक्षा यह होगी कि New Delhi में agreed initiatives कितनी जल्दी operational programmes में बदलते हैं।
