यह भाषा भारत के लिए बहुत practical है। Gulf और आसपास के sea lanes से India का बड़ा हिस्सा crude oil, LNG और container trade गुजरता है। किसी भी disruption का असर freight, insurance, energy prices और अंततः domestic inflation पर पड़ सकता है।
Seafarers क्यों महत्वपूर्ण हैं
Indian nationals global merchant shipping workforce का बड़ा हिस्सा हैं। इसलिए maritime conflict केवल oil-price story नहीं है; यह crew safety और evacuation preparedness का भी सवाल है। BRICS declaration में भी civilian infrastructure और maritime stability को लेकर चिंता दिखाई गई।
India और Iran के bilateral relations में connectivity, energy और regional access लंबे समय से महत्वपूर्ण रहे हैं। Chabahar port इसका एक प्रमुख उदाहरण है, हालांकि हर bilateral meeting में उसके specific operational outcomes की घोषणा नहीं होती।
New Delhi की balancing strategy
India Iran के साथ historical और strategic ties बनाए रखना चाहता है, जबकि उसके US, Israel और Gulf monarchies के साथ भी महत्वपूर्ण संबंध हैं। इसलिए New Delhi का public position आम तौर पर de-escalation, dialogue और freedom of navigation पर केंद्रित रहता है।
इस meeting से कोई immediate breakthrough घोषित नहीं हुआ। लेकिन conflict के बीच direct political engagement का महत्व इसलिए है क्योंकि India को energy supplies, shipping routes और regional diplomacy - तीनों को साथ manage करना पड़ रहा है।
