Prime Minister Narendra Modi ने Paris के International Space Summit में India के दो long-term goals दोहराए: 2035 तक Indian space station और 2040 तक किसी भारतीय को Moon पर भेजना.
उन्होंने India की launch services और international partnerships का भी उल्लेख किया और कहा कि Indian rockets 34 देशों के 430 से ज्यादा payloads launch कर चुके हैं. Speech ने India-France space cooperation की लंबी history को भी highlight किया.
महत्वपूर्ण policy shift यह है कि India की next phase सिर्फ state-led missions तक सीमित नहीं है. इसमें ISRO capabilities के साथ private-sector participation, international scientific cooperation, Earth observation और sustainable use of space के rules भी शामिल हैं.
