Ministry of Women and Child Development 9 September को Varanasi में ninth Rashtriya Poshan Maah launch करेगा. Month-long campaign का theme “Hamari Anganwadi Hamari Jimmedari” है, जो community participation और local accountability को nutrition programme के centre में रखता है.
Poshan Abhiyaan 2018 में malnutrition से निपटने के लिए nutrition, health, sanitation और behavioural interventions के convergence के रूप में launch हुआ था. 2026 campaign Anganwadi Management Committees और local participation की role पर जोर देगा. Ministry ने supplementary nutrition guidelines, hot cooked meals और menu-display requirements का भी उल्लेख किया है और PMMVY के दस वर्ष पूरे होने को mark करेगा.
Malnutrition multidimensional problem है. Calories supply भर से outcomes नहीं सुधरते. Maternal health, sanitation, disease, dietary diversity, women’s agency, household income, breastfeeding practices और service quality सभी असर डालते हैं. Anganwadi centres इस system की frontline हैं, इसलिए community monitoring तभी meaningful है जब वह attendance, food quality, growth monitoring और accountability सुधार सके.
