Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla ने कहा है कि Lok Sabha और State Legislative Assemblies में महिलाओं के लिए 33% reservation political leadership के नए रास्ते खोल सकता है. अब focus constitutional amendment पास होने से आगे बढ़कर implementation के mechanics और timing पर जा रहा है.
Representation party recruitment, agenda-setting और political leadership pipeline को प्रभावित कर सकती है. लेकिन implementation future census और delimitation की constitutional process से जुड़ा है. इसलिए institutional sequencing headline quota जितना ही महत्वपूर्ण है.
