Xi Jinping सात साल बाद भारत पहुंचे: BRICS के बीच Modi-Xi talks पर सबसे ज्यादा नजर

Chinese President Xi Jinping BRICS Summit में भाग लेने के लिए New Delhi पहुंचे हैं। यह सात साल में उनका पहला भारत दौरा है और 2019 के बाद पहली बार वह भारत में Prime Minister Narendra Modi के साथ structured bilateral engagement कर रहे हैं।

यह यात्रा इसलिए महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि 2020 की Galwan Valley clash के बाद India-China relations लंबे समय तक सबसे खराब दौर में रहे। Eastern Ladakh में military standoff, investment restrictions, visa issues और political distrust ने bilateral ties को प्रभावित किया।

रिश्तों में thaw, लेकिन समस्याएं खत्म नहीं

2024 में disengagement arrangement के बाद दोनों देशों ने धीरे-धीरे कुछ practical channels फिर खोले। Direct flights, business visas और border-management mechanisms पर progress हुई है। हाल की boundary talks में military hotlines और trans-border river cooperation जैसे मुद्दे भी सामने आए।

लेकिन Line of Actual Control पर troop deployment, Arunachal Pradesh पर China की claims, Pakistan के साथ Beijing के strategic ties और India का बड़ा trade deficit अभी unresolved हैं। इसलिए current thaw को full normalisation मानना जल्दबाजी होगी।

Economic dialogue पर नजर

Indian Express के मुताबिक Modi-Xi talks में strategic economic dialogue को revive करने, market access, Chinese investment और trade imbalance जैसे मुद्दों पर चर्चा की संभावना है। India Chinese capital और manufacturing links को पूरी तरह बंद नहीं करना चाहता, लेकिन sensitive sectors में security concerns भी बरकरार हैं।

BRICS के broader context में दोनों देश tariff pressure, Global South representation और multilateral institutions reform जैसे मुद्दों पर कुछ साझा ground रखते हैं। फिर भी bilateral relationship की असली परीक्षा summit photographs नहीं, बल्कि border stability और economic reciprocity पर ठोस progress होगी।
